a blog about adventures in early marriage, the effort in making a house a home on a budget, the unexpected struggle of infertility, an exciting twin pregnancy, a surprise second pregnancy, adventures in doing preschool at home ~ really this is just a blog about where each season of life takes me!

Indianapolis is home to the world’s largest children’s museum.I can’t even begin to tell you how many times I’ve been to this museum since I’ve been a nanny. Let’s just say we really get our money’s worth with our yearly pass;)The girls always have a lot of fun at the museum, but last Saturday Matt and I took the girls to the museum’s annual kid-friendly haunted house. The girls always look forward to visiting the haunted house every October. I will warn you that the haunted house is separate admission from regular museum admission, and you probably won’t spend more than twenty minutes going through the haunted house.Having said that, dressing up in fun costumes and visiting the haunted house has become an annual tradition for us. So if you’re ever in my area in October and are looking for some kid-friendly Halloween fun, then try visitingThe Children's Museum of Indianapolis.
Welcome to Loving Life! I'm so glad you stopped by. This blog has a little bit of everything. The intent of creating this blog was to journal the everyday experiences of life, creating a space that reflected my life's journey. My first post was in 2011, when I was still in the newlywed phase and a first-time homeowner. Much of those early posts were about our adventures in marriage and numerous frugal DIY projects. A few years later, this blog became my personal outlet, as I opened myself up and shared about our struggles with infertility, our exciting twin pregnancy and our how our plans to adopt were changed with a surprise second pregnancy. Being a new mom meant that my posts soon revolved around early motherhood. Currently, I'm the mom of three kids, four years old and under. I enjoy homeschooling our kids for preschool, so you'll find a little bit of that here too! It really is a hodge-podge of LIFE on this blog! If you like what you see while you're here, I invite you to leave a comment or click the follow button follower, and then invite your friends to do the same.
I'm just a girl who enjoys being creative. My three men are my world! I'm truly blessed to be a wife to an amazing man and a new mom of twin boys. In my spare time I love reading, thrifty shopping, home decorating, cooking, scrap booking, and blogging about this little thing called life!
